Fuller Endowed Chair for Social Justice, Baylor University


The Diana R. Garland School of Social Work at Baylor University is currently accepting applications to fill the Fuller Endowed Chair for Social Justice, to start August 2025.


This endowed faculty position is at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, with a commitment to the educational preparation of social workers, a substantial scholarship program with a focus on social justice for marginalized populations, and recognition of the role and influence of religion and spirituality in social justice work.

The Diana R. Garland School of Social Work provides residential and online professional preparation at the BSW, MSW, and PhD levels of social work education. We are a highly collegial faculty who share a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the explicit and implicit social work curricula.

Currently, we have a university-wide initiative to add numerous endowed chairs to the Baylor faculty in order to create a vibrant and dynamic cohort of scholars to engage in scholarship and leadership at both the school and university levels.
